Though the house feels as if it is miles away from everything, it is near some of the most stunning natural wonders of North America, including the point where the great Colorado River began to form the Grand Canyon (Canyonlands National Park), awesome natural arches (Arches National Park), and traces of our past can be found at Mesa Verde National Park.  Simply visit www.nps.gov to see all the great national parks within an easy drive of southeastern Utah.

CHECK AVAILABILITY  |  VIEW ALL PROPERTIES

Before making your reservation, consider:

This is the Wilderness! You will be awestruck, but hopefully not dumbfounded. Guests must be smart, safe and realize that you may encounter wildlife.
The desert terrain can be very rough. You will need a four-wheel drive, high clearance vehicle to access this property.
You will be secluded. There is not much technology to speak of (inc. TV). Of course there is a phone for emergencies, but cell service is very weak (analog works best).
Currently, for safety reasons, we discourage guests from bringing children from toddler age up to age 12.
Because of fire risk we do not allow smoking or open flames on the property except in fireplaces.

If this is the kind of true getaway that you were hoping for, then by all means, come, get lost, and find yourself again!
